When will Brett Favre sign with Vikings ?

Crap.  we hate being wrong… see our former crappy prediction below.  So, when will Brett Favre sign with the Vikings now?

Let’s figure this out with some specific dates and facts:

1.  The circus, aka the Vikings training camp , opens July 31st.

2.  Brett has said he only wants one media frenzy.  Not two.  This means he does not want to sign today which creates a circus and then the first week of camp another circus.  (And if that isn’t a weird comment considering the drama he creates for himself, I don’t know what is.)

3.  He thinks he owns the offense.   He ran this offense for 16 years.  Brett feels he does not have to start fast.  Remember, with the Jets he was flying high mid pre-season with only a few weeks under his belt… and this is HIS offense at Minny.

4.  He hates camp/practice.  So does Allen Iverson.   So why come in even on the first day… July 31st?

5.  All signs point towards his contract is done.  It’s all “wink wink” to the media and fans, but if you read between the little smirky smiles–  we say he is signed.  And “everybody” knows it.  So he is already in the fold.

We say he starts second week of camp, and plenty of time to let the drama build.   Plenty of time to learn how to hand off to A-Pete.  And throw an interception in the fourth quarter.  So if you want an exact date, we say August 12th.

Hey… we here think Brett is just goofy.  For a long time we thought the goofy was “cute.”  You know the kid from Mississippi that loves the cold.    Like a new puppy.   Now he is just goofy.  Like a new puppy that bites off his owners leg.

Anyways book it August 12th…get your Judas Favre shirt exclusively here.

Of course its been about the money, but only for you, not Favre he turned down 30 million with packers as a rep. So it is not him. Look at yourself how much you makeing on the shirts? Your the traitors not Favre.
Let him do what he wants, when he played for the Packers you got your moneys worth on every game, so quit trying to ruin him.
I am from Oshkosh WI. 50 miles from Green Bay, I hope he comes to Green Bay and plays again so I can watch his thrilling games again. If he beats GB so what. Its only a game. Got it.

Thank you for your input. It’s great to hear the truth about Brett Favre. He is the greatest and wanted to come back to Greenbay, but people don’t get it thru their heads that Ted Thompson pushed him out. Blame the management not Brett. Tar & feather them & run them out of town. That is what should have been done from the beginning. Brett didn’t start all this bull crap, Greenbay did. Media is guilty too.

    Keith,
Can you honestly say that you are not upset at all that Favre decided to ‘retire’ from the Pack and then two months later ‘un-retire’ to demand to sign with the jets? He plays a mediocre season then, ‘retires’ and once again ‘un-retires’. And he also decides to have his second ‘un-retiring’ will come with the team on the opposite side of the greatest NFL rivalry. So you aren’t upset about that at all?
He’s a great guy, and an amazing player, but aren’t we allowed to express our feeling of betrayal?

Brett didn’t betray anybody. Greenbay betrayed him. Get it straight.

Can’t be a “Judas” when you’re literally run out of town. How much for a JudasThompson shirt? Humm, $14.99 for a t-shirt…sounds like someone else is making some money! Born n raised in G.B. but you are picking on the wrong man.

    Favre Lovers,

He retired. This is a fact. The Packers moved on. This is a fact. He then started the circus, flew his stupid jet into town, started grand-standing, pouted, bashed the team to the media, played for another team, “retired again”, unretired and is currently holding the Vikings hostage (which is fine by me cause I do not like the Vikings). That is when people got pissed.

Also, as some of you you seem to be quite the little accountants, do you really think that they are making a ton of money charging 14.95 per shirt? Go to a shirt store and ask how much it takes to produce shirts, then post your “money making” statement.

To make sense, you will need to make better arguments. Dustin above has it correct, because he uses a fact based argument…see how that works? Emotions will never defeat facts in a discussion. So next time you post, please bring something to the table.

Finally, ITS A FREAKING T-SHIRT!!! Relax!!
