There can only be one “first” post and this is it.  So how did we come up with judas favre?  What’s this all about.

Let’s start from the beginning… I am 35 years old and grew up a Packer Fan.  Miserable times.  Miserable times.   The majik man was “the guy”.  He got hurt.  Favre comes in.  Who cares.  Then weird stuff starts to happen… he looks pretty good…we get Reggie White.  We are on MNF and SI.   Favre is a rock star.

Oh, and he is just like us here in Wisconsin.  Parties with chewy, bag of donuts.  Hunts, fishes.  Plays the game hard.  Screws the media.  Fights with his boss (Holmgren).  Hot wife.  Does all the right things, says all the right stuff.  Kids go to school here.  His dad and brothers are drunks and normal dudes.  Tells guys get to camp…you got a contract.  Man of his word.  Cries cause it hurts so bad to lose.   He says he will always be a Packer.  Always.  Awesome….

He is by definition: a hero, class, a winner, a gunslinger, a team player.

And now…now?  TRAITOR.  JUDAS.  ET TU BRUTE?
