OH, and I am sure Vikings management is ecstatic…thanks Brett. And how about the Vikes team of Doctors and trainers… Brett, can I look at you? Oh, cool you self diagnosed, perfect, we won’t have to pay worker’s comp. this is nuts i say.**************

PFT’s fearless leader has opined more than once that Brett Favre is going to use his shoulder injury as a built-in excuse if things don’t go well this season in Minnesota.

Well, now he has another excuse, at least for tonight’s preseason tilt against the Texans.

Favre reportedly told ESPN before Monday night’s game that he suspects he has a cracked rib. In true Favrian style, there hasn’t actually been an official diagnosis, but Favre says taking a deep breath causes discomfort. The Vikings haven’t mentioned the injury previously, and must be pumped that the information is out now.

The team can’t be too worried about it because Favre doesn’t plan to wear any kind of any extra padding since the “damage is done.”

The drama, surely, is just getting started.

Here is a news story about the best anti-Favre T-shirts. It’s the top ten best shirts depicting the demise of the legend. ONLY thing I don’t like about this list is we are #2. That is untrue. Ours is the best. And we have the cutest model. That is 4 sure.

One of our favorite articles in a long time chronicles the “20 Things That Make You a Doofus.” Of course, this here website is quoted… “Sticking it to rivals always is welcome — in fact, the worst thing about Brett Favre not playing for Minnesota is that Green Bay fans won’t be sporting JUDAS No. 4 T-shirts.”

Well Mr. Hubry we TOTALLY AGREE, THAT WAS THE WORST THING! Read the article. It’s freakin’ hil-ar-i-ous.

BTW, I would never hope for anyone to get hurt, but we got t-shirts to sell and popcorn to eat. So, yes we almost choked on our bratwurst when we heard T-Jax went down in practice. Thank goodness we had a Miller High Life near to wash it down. Life chugs on.

Will Vikings hear from Favre in two weeks?

Amid mounting evidence that Brett Favre is interested in playing football if he can find a way to shorten the season as it applies to him, there are some in the Vikings organization who are convinced that Favre will attempt to join the team after the first two weeks of training camp.

And that coach Brad Childress will welcome him with open arms.

This conflicts with the notion, as Tom Curran reported yesterday, that the Vikings have closed the door on Favre. But the reaction of the team in the immediate wake of Favre’s announcement and its atttiude after 14 days of bounce passes and pickoffs could be very different.

So, basically, he isn’t going away quietly, and he simply isn’t going away.
***** So Favre Freaks, quit sending us e-mails (although we love you too) that we are morally corrupting the internet. (Yes, somebody really sent us that.) Anyways, we are still in business folks, so buy the shirt baby! Buy the shirt.
