GREEN BAY, WI—Brett Favre beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday for the second time this season, his decisive 38-26 victory exacting some small measure of revenge for the adulation and hero worship heaped upon him by the city of Green Bay and the entire state of Wisconsin for the better part of two decades. “It feels good to finally get retribution from the team that gave me my first chance to start, believed in me despite the pitfalls of my early career, and ensured I will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer,” Favre said at a postgame press conference. “And to do it in front of those fans, who unconditionally loved me through thick and thin while I struggled with a Vicodin addiction and disastrous interceptions, just made it that much sweeter. Sixteen long years of devotion, and they’re finally getting what they deserve.” Favre mentioned that when he does retire, he is looking forward to “really sticking it” to the wife and daughters whose loving presence has been the one constant during his playing career.

Said Brett Favre in an interview with Jon Gruden that aired Sunday morning on ESPN: “It was 16 great years. I hope they enjoyed it, they appreciated . . . that run as much as I did. You can’t take that away. You just have to let it go and just move on.”

Yep a great 16 years Mr. Favre, but starting at kick off tonight we are moving on, ya frickin’ TRAITOR! You want us to move on, we will move on. We are Packer Fans.

So you wonder how Favre will be treated when he comes into OUR HOUSE November 1st? As for us, we won’t boo…he gave us an exciting 16 years, but we will be wearing our judas favre t-shirts proudly.

A follower of this website sent me an interesting story of what recently happened at Miller Park during a Brewer game when somebody wore the traitor outfit. This is good stuff. Story is HERE. Our comments on this… a Cutler and Vikings Favre Jersey… at the Brewer game, sitting together. LOSERS. These guys were begging for attention, and they got it. America IS beautfiul. You know why? Because the silent majority, and I think the vast majority of Packer Fans believe in HOPE AND CHANGE. NO, not the sort of hope and change that Mr. Obama talks about where we wait for the government to cook the rules or we wait in line for our “fair share.” We mean having an idea and going for it! Report says Brett Favre will decide by Friday whether to play for Minnesota Vikings

Report says he’s moved up deadline

Brett Favre is expected to announce whether he will play for the Vikings by Friday, according to NFL.com.

Favre provided a self-imposed deadline of July 30 in an interview with the Associated Press last week. But NFL.com reported today that “those closest to Favre” expect him to make a decision by Friday.

The report suggested Favre would make a decision sooner if it involved a franchise closer to his home in Hattiesburg, Miss., — mentioning the New Orleans Saints — and that he would have said yes already if a regular-season game were to be played in two weeks.

The NFL.com report said Favre is trying to determine whether his surgically repaired arm can withstand the entire season and whether he wants to endure another training camp and preseason.

Favre continues to work out with the players at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg. A reporter for the Hattiesburg American newspaper estimated that 95 percent of the 50 or so passes Favre attempted on Friday were “spot on,” with “plenty of zip.” The reporter added that Favre was hitting the high school receivers in stride.

**** *****As George Costanza said, “You wanna get nuts, let’s get nuts!” What do I mean by this? Brett has went nuts, or “his people” are nuts, but that is really splitting hairs. Why? Why? Why? Well I’ll lay it out to you…

1. I would make a decision sooner if the franchise was closer? What the h-lon-stevens does that mean? Boy, if my job was in the same town I lived in… whew, that’s a no brainer friend. huh? Boy if Drew Brees got hurt, now that’s an opportunity!? WHAT?

2. If games were two weeks away, yeah sure. But this whole practice thing and pre-season games who needs em? I mean I have the most interceptions in NFL history, I’ll just keep wingin’ it. Right Brett? Huh?

3. Sidebar… It would be cool to be the high school wide recievers, I bet there are a few pumped up kids every morning. Yeah, I’m going to catch balls with a QB legend as Chris Mortensen watches me. “I am huge mom! HUGE!”… I bet all these high schools guys now have cute college girlfriends.

3a. Sidbar II. And my high school QB Chad Cook had “plenty of zip” and hit our WR’s Matt Seiser and Shawn “Schneidz” Schneider in stride in July throw around practice. The guy looked like, well Brett Favre, without pads on and without even practice conditions. So whatevah.
