Noticed that goal came down from 5,000 to 1,000. Becoming pretty common in Packer nation to settle for less…. goal of winning championships has now become being over .500, goal for the o-line is to give up just 4 sacks a game and not 5, goal of Rodgers is too see how many times he can pound his chest after a first down before the play clock runs down, goal of McCarthy is to see how fat he can get by end of the season, goal of barnett is to spend the week planning a dance for the one tackle he will make during the game…..

Ted Thompson has made mistakes, no doubt, especially the O-Line, but the Favre divorce has made people hope for his failure and the Packers’ failure. Sad.
Thompson took a crap team, which Mike Shermann left in Shambles and in Salary Cap hell and turned them around. “Favre did that!!!” Wrong. Favre helped, but so did Grant, Jennings, Charles Woodson, Nick Collins, etc (all Thompson pick ups or drafts). For his work Ted Thompson was granted exec of the year. I would like to think that the people voting for that award know more than me, you and all the others going crazy all over the internet.
Some perspective is needed by both sides. Ted Thompson has made mistakes, but he has created a competitive team and a team that is going forward quite well. Will they win a Super Bowl? Who knows…..but they are a lot better off with him then before him. Is he perfect? No! Is he better than 3/4 of the league, yes. Do you have someone else in mind that they should hire? If so, call them and let them know. Do you have some golden LT or RT (tackles) who are out there that they should sign?
I hate that Rodgers pounds his chest everytime he does something. I hate that Rodgers gives a stupid first down signal everytime he runs for 4 yards. I hate that he is an arrogant california punk. Trent Dilfer did a story about NFL QB’s that are knocking on the door of being elite NFL QB’s, in the same class as the Mannings and Brady, etc…he put Rodgers, Cutler, Flacco, Ryan guys like that in this catagory. Rodgers got upset with Dilfer because his stats were just as good as the guys in the elite class and he deserves to be in that class. Dilfer laughed, and went on that he found it funny that these young guys think because they have one good statistical year they are top notch QB’s. He finished with saying, “you havent won anything” “win something then we can talk”….
This just speaks to the arrogance of this punk. 6-10 last year, 8-11 on his career. 19 games into his career and he should be in the same conversation as Manning, Brady, etc…not saying he wont get there, but give me a break dude.

Favre’s first years were crap?!?!?!?1? In his first year he led them to 6 straight wins and a record over .500 at 9-7 only missing the playoffs by 1 game. Playoffs in second and third year already and MVPs and Super Bowl seasons (1995–1997)

How can you be a top flight QB in the NFL after 19 games….specifically after a year with a record of 6-10. Yes he is good, I am not denying that, but to say he is a top flight QB is just dumb.
