Favre signs with Vikings

Well he did on Madden at least.  Check the image to see your worst nightmare come true.  Ole gunslinger giving it to Apete.  Although if you look real close Aaron Kampman appears to be shedding his block to crush APete and pretty sure out of the picture Clay Matthews the Third is ready to blow up Brett.  Anyways, I thought it was worth posting.

Some nut job also did a whole big thing about Favre with the Vikings on Madden… the article is a year old, but still good enough to post it here.

After seperating my anger from the reality of the situation, Favre signing with the Vikings will be a blessing in disguise. We now have one less team to worry about in the NFC North.

    My prediction:
Vikings start off 5-0. ESPN goes wild with coverage. BOOK YOUR SUPERBOWL PLANS VIKINGS FANS!! Favre is vinidcated against his old team. Chilly (Vikings Coach) has Favre playing in control, handing off and not gunslinging. Fast forward….OLD BALLS JUDAS FAVRE forgets that there are 11 games left. He no longer has “the fire”, after all we know he doesn’t play for records….bullshit. Favre starts flinging the ball around because this is his team boys, not A Petersons. He will show the young punks how its done, it worked in the 90s, just ask Bag O’ Doughnuts and Chewy. Arm fatigue sets in…..Brett starts pouting (you know the pout…..you’ve seen it…now you get to enjoy it, take it in, savor it).

Vikings finish 8-8. Their secondary blows, they have no receivers, refurbished O-Line and they are betting their season on a 40 year old prima donna whose “love for the game” changes like my mood after 6-7 Jaeger Bombs. He will start off on fire, but teeter out like the Superheroes did in the Truck Pull. Now if we can just get Cutler to keep drinking, we will be in the catbird seat for another Division Title.

If it is such a “blessing” why didn’t the Packers just trade him to Minnesota last year? You honestly think that Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels are better QBs than Brett Favre? Don’t get me wrong, I am the biggest Packers fan you will ever meet, but I am just stating the facts. If Favre went to the Vikings he would be the best QB on the team.

By blessing i guess i could have said mistake by the Vikings and “blessing in disguise” for the Packers. I dont doubt for a second that Favre, when he is healthy and wants to play, is the best QB on the Vikings. However, he is old and will crap out later in the season as he has for us the last 5 years. He is playing for spite and after he has played the Pack, what will be left for him? Do you think he gives a rip about the Vikings? The Vikings are courting him to sell seats so they can get their new stadium, Favre is playing to “stick it to Ted”. These two reasons spell certain disaster for the Vikings. While we all know its all about the money these days, teams that win it all need chemistry, and the above reasons do not build chemistry.

We are both Packer fans and deep down we are pissed off by this whole episode……….we have differing beliefs, but lets both just cheer for the D-Line to rip this old man a new one on game day!!

Come on people Favre is not a trader or a hater. The guy wants to play ball. All this crap u all got goin on crazy.Be a true fan root him on no matter what he does he give alot of good years to the pack an now all the sudden everyone wants to hate for the life of me i cant figure it out i think you all are scared.Dont get me wrong im a packers fan from indiana and gotta listen to the bs every year but sport my pack tatts proudly here in good ol colts country. We should be rootin him on no matter what i pesonally hope he does well and i think he will SO GO PACK AND GO FAVRE

Packer fan but I watch Brett over them anyday. So when it’s all said and done I hope Brett wins it and then holds up the lombardi trophy and says thanks Ted this ones for you sucker cuz you thought I was to old and washed up. Remember last year Aaron Rodgers got hurt. He always gets hurt and he will get hurt again this year. I don’t believe hes strong enough although yes he is good but he never will be Brett Favre. So lets leave Brett alone and wish for the best. You only get one life to live and let the man live it his way.

Seriously, Judas..Give me a break…why not throw Ted on the Shirt also. Although I don’t exactly agree with how Brett go’s about his business once in awhile, it’s beyond me to judge because I’m not a GM, coach, or teammate. Those are the guys that really have validated feelings when it comes to him playing or not playing. And where his locker room is. Who gives a crap. Did we care where his locker room at the end of the game when he led us down to the field to a win or sometimes didn’t? I mean aren’t there more important things in all of our lives to really care that much to compare this man to Judas. The man who traded in god for some gold. These guys who started this whole thing need to donate the money they make from the t’shirts to charity. Lets not forget all the charity work that favre did while he was here and will probably continue to do. Lets focus on once aspect of a man’s life and call him Judas…

Packers fan , means PACKERS FAN, not I LOVE FAVRE FAN, I was with Favre all the way up until yesterday! This is all about revenge, period! That is why I hope he falls on his face and shows his true self. He is a spoiled, special treatment needed person with an ego that could not fit in WI anymore. He is LOVING all this extra attention. He wanted the packers to BEG him every year to show up, he wanted a say in all trades and signings. Plain and simple he wanted special treatment. HE is a Cancer and I am now glad he is gone, hech ask the JETS players what kind of team mate he was!. Loved him while he was normal, not anymore. He hasn’t been the same since his father died and he started listening to his wife for playing advice.
