AND WE LOSE… BUT WE ARE STILL SELLING SHIRTS BABY!

*** Ok a few things from our perspective.  Our judas site (and the Judas 4 shirt, where 10% goes to beat cancer) was NEVER about Favre sucking.  It had everything to do with him being a traitor, check all our posts, even the original ones.  And last night did not change that.  He still is a traitor.  Seeing Deanna sweating bullets in the Vikings luxury box made me want to vomit.   We can’t wait for him to return November 1 to Lambeau.  Hopefully, they are still undefeated and then we crush them.

A few thoughts here about the game in no particular order.

1.  At least our field is not named the “Mall of America” Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.  What the heck is that?

2. We would rather lose every game then have Jared Allen on our team.  That rope tie thing and him asking for the crowds help, thrown in with weird headband and all that is gross and weird.  We have much hate for him.  Like John Randle’s face paint.  Puke.

3.  At least we don’t have a coach that looks like Mr. Noodle.  Man, he is a bad coach.  Apete fumbles and then they basically bench him the rest of the game. GENIUS.

4.  As bad as the Packers played, they had every chance to win that game.  A few red zone mistakes away from winning that game… wow.

5.  They are built for a dome.  The queens have speed…. but I don’t think they are very tough.

6.  Aaron Rodgers will be sacked three times this week.  And it’s the bye week.

7.   Wasn’t there a certain all world 15-1 Viking team that lost 41-0 in the playoffs?  Sounds about right this year.

snickers

8.  Dom Capers is scared of Favre.  We get that.  Now 0-6 vs. the old man.  Scared to blitz.  Hey, scared to send 3 people even.

9.  At least we don’t have a traitor on our team.

10.  That football must be worn out from all those tight spirals. Amazing on both sides.

11.  I am convinced, true Packer Fans realize Favre is a traitor.  The average bandwagon Packer fan either a) doesn’t care or b) likes Favre and almost hope he wins over the Packers.  When they showed those people at Brett Favre’s steakhouse during the game jumping up and down with excitement because the Vikings scored… I hope and pray some REAL Packer fans pummeled them.  Seriously.  That was so stupid.

12.  Our lineman are really bad.  Really.  Seriously bad.  No for real.  Come on for real.  Really bad.

13.  2 AND 2 is the new 30.  Something like that.

14. Sick and tired of being the youngest team.  Need some veteran leadership.  What the heck is Barry Sanders doing anyway.

Say what you want. Ted Thompson and the wonderful Packers leadership didn’t want Favre and he can still play. All Favre wanted was to play and the Packers didn’t want him so Rodgers wanted to “prove” himself. You lose. And, you will again come November 1 on the frozen tundra of Lam Blow.

    WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SKOLL VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favre is still a traitor, fits right in w/ the queems, and mall of america dome? WTF is that? hahahaha. Now there’s tradition you can hang your hat on! queens, queens, queens, what would we do w/ out you. LMAO

is that sposed to hurt? hahahha who cares what the name of a stadium is. WWOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO. wins are all that matter and right now the vikes are sitting on 4 and the pack only has half as many wins. WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO SKOLL VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go eat some cheese. The fudge packers can have Rodgers and that wonderful offensive line. He won’t last the season getting sacked eight times a game. The VIKINGS have what it takes to win. Enjoy your season.

Packer fans should be concerned with the coaching and decisions of the GB Packers, not Brad Childress. This Administration has clearly failed to address their weaknesses and they have a pile of $ in the coffers. TT, spend some dough or your Golden Boy Rodgers will not last much longer. Favre was amazing toying with the Packer D all night at will. What is Barry Sanders doing? How about Mark Tauscher, Joe Panos, and Tony Mandarich?
Where are all the Favrehaters today?

  • "Change we can believe in"

Couple of things….You would love Allen if he was a Packers. Trust me you would, Jay admitted it last night. Second, worry about your own coaching decisions not those of Childress. The packers ran the fricken wildcat on a 3rd and 3 last night. They are having a serious identity crisis. the Vikings are not very tough?….are you fricken kidding me. Peterson is a beast, and the o-line and d-line dominated the game. Excited for November 1st??….my prediction. now they worry about stopping the passing game and Peterson goes for 150yards and 4Tds. Give me a few reasons of how and why you think the Packers will be able to “CRUSH” the Vikings on November 1st…just nonsense.

  • "Change we can believe in"

pretty funny that the Packer fans are now resorting to making fun of the stadium name…..wow, this team has come a long ways….Congrats boys!

What else should I say that hasnt been posted a million times by myself? I dislike Favre, the reasons are clearly spelled out in my posts, no need to go over them again.

My stance remains the same. I dislike Favre regardless of his play this season. Nothing validates his actions the past 3-4 off seasons.

Favre played good, just as anyone would with 4-7 seconds to scan the defense and find a receiver. Im not diminishing or ignoring that he was dead on in this game. This was his super bowl. Congrats. Its a long season. If he doesnt crap out on the Vikings, like he did the past 5 seasons, then you may be on to something. If he doesnt, it further validates that he quit on the Packers once he didnt get his way and once the weather turned cold.

The Pack has real problems. The O-line situation is unbelievable. Ted T has staked his rep on Aaron Rodgers, but has failed to protect him. I cannot believe that they won’t take action. James Campen (Favre’s buddy) should be shown the door now. Regardless of injuries, these O-Linemen have to have some talent, they are in the NFL for a reason. There has been no, and i mean no development. This is a coaching problem and a talent problem. I dont know how to fix it, but these dudes get paid millions and better fix it fast!!! This is Ted T’s downfall. He has built a team with talent, but ignored the “trenches”. The trenches is where games are won and lost.

Finally, we are only 4 games in. If the Packers are as bad as you all think (and its possible they are), then why are you taking so much pride in beating us? Do you think that we will say “Oh, we got beat by the Vikings….I guess Favre is ok after all.” No, at least I wont. The Vikings are on the level of the 49ers, no where near the Giants or Saints.

TruVikingsFan….Regional jokes? Really? You are a Vikings Fan, you are in roughly the same region and voted Al Franken into office. If you want to rip on the Packers, go ahead, there is plenty to rip on at the moment. But regional jokes? Remember where the Vikings are located. Weak, really weak.

CC, I agree 100%. There is no excuse for the lack of vetran leadership on this team. We need some vets. We dont need high priced free agents, but some salty vets (aka Dawkins who went to Denver) who have some fire in their guts and can change the team’s lack luster, ho-hum attitute.

To summarize. Favre played good. Kudos. Will that change my point of view? No. The only thing that will is if he is proven to not be a liar. “Change” and I had this discussion and it is clear that neither view point can be proven. Its how each individual sees it.

See you Nov 1st. Hopefully our O-line is fixed or it will be another long night.

Question; What does SKOL mean anyways? Is it some sort of abreviation?

  • TrueVikingsFan

Rodger that. The fudge packer faithful have nothing else to say since they lost and are off to a fabulous start and..oh yeah. We beat them! Easily. Enjoy watching us in the playoffs since it is not looking too good for cheesieland.

Defnition of a internet troll = TruVikingsFan.

Why are you on a Packer based website?

Over the past 3 years the Packers are 5-2 vs. the Vikings. Your team has been embarrassed every year they have made the playoffs. You went 15-1 and lost to a crap Falcons team. You got freaking shut out in an NFC championship game. If you want to rip on each franchise’s shortcomings, I fear you will lose that battle. Never once, after all the failures listed above, did I go to a Vikings’s site and post nonsense like you have. You offer no insight, no thought, no analysis and are simply an antagonist and a troll. Congrats. You are a shining example of the Vikings Fan Base. At least “Change” “CC” and “Nick” offer something to discuss and debate. What do you offer?

  • TrueVikingsFan

Stevegoat – Thanks for your comments. I started this thread by saying that the Packers leadership seemed to want to rid themselves of Favre and all he wanted to do was play. At least that is what it looks like to me. I agree Favre added to, and unnecessarily prolonged, the drama. However, Ted T clearly wanted to move on to the Aaron Rodgers era. If Favre really wanted only to play how does going to the Vikings make him a traitor? He can play for any team he wants as long as he can still do the job of QB. Do you disagree?? To call him a traitor lacks analysis and insight. In truth, I also find the fourteen observations above pretty uninsightful and that they represent the intellect of Packers Fan base rather well. Comparing Childress to Mr. Noodle? Making fun of the name of our stadium? Smart. Real smart.

    TrueVikingsFan,

Thank you, post like your recent one allow for a meaningful conversation. Sorry to get “angry” but I hate it when people just spout crap after their team wins.

I do not disagree that he can play for who he wants. Its how he went about it that makes me mad. He tried to cover up his desire to play for the Vikings and that it was his goal the whole time. If he would have been a man about it, id be fine. Remeber the tampering thing? Those things dont just come about without reason.

He used the Jets and stunk it up. “Retired” so he could go to the Vikings. Some of this is on his agent, Bus Cook. I think Favre has received some terrible advise. If he was unhappy with the direction of the Packers and Teddy T…just say it. Hell, Cutler had no qualms about saying that was the reason he wanted out. Same agent, same goal, different approach but the player.

Im not happy with some of the decision Teddy T has made and he is at fault also, but i refuse to turn my back on the Packers and root for their failure like some “Packer Fans” have.

    Goat-Well said.
    We beat them easily,mmm No.
Im man enough to say, yeah, the better team won, but the better man DID NOT WIN !
Favre got his revenge, good for him, but does not change my opinion of the guy.
This is why he has lost respect across the nation!
Did you see at pre game ceter field introdutions, he didn’t even recognize Rodgers, after 3 yrs together? What did Rodgers ever do to Favre?

  • TrueVikingsFan

Stevegoat – I don’t disagree. Favre should have been up front about his intentions/concerns all along. Prolonging the drama only made the agony worse for all. Childress has hitched his wagon to Favre. If it doesn’t work out he will be gone from the Vikings I imagine the way Ted Thompson might be gone if things don’t improve for the Packers. Nonetheless, it is a long season and we still have a ways to go.

  • Stevegoat

What would be “poetic” and tragic is if each team falls apart and the g-darn Bears win the division. LOL, we all bitch back and forth while the Bears are quietly 3-1. Im not rooting for it, no way, but I bet the Bears are just laughing as they quietly go along with their business.

It is a long season and it should be fun regardless.

Teddy T is in trouble, big trouble with this O-Line problem. Its a glaring deficiency and, honestly, a joke. No excuse for their play, none. Ive never seen worse play by a unit. Every end who plays them has a career day.

  • Stevegoat

So do I! Judasfavre first!! We all agree on something!!

… and where there is hope, there is love.

    • I think before calling brett a judas let’s get the facts straight. The packers didn’t want brett anymore. Anyway, did you happen to see the game last night or did the crap from the t-shirts get in your way!
